Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)

MCSE is Microsoft's most popular title (check out Microsoft's MCP statistics for confirmation).

Earning the MCSE in Windows Server 2003 is not easy, but you are almost guaranteed to receive some healthy return on investment (ROI) for your struggles.

Earning the MCSE requires that you pass a total of seven exams.

  • Exam 70-293: Planning and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure
  • Exam 70-294: Planning, Implementing, and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure

Core Exam: Desktop OS (Select one)

  • Exam 70-620: TS: Windows Vista, Configuring
  • Exam 70-270: Installing, Configuring, and Administering Windows XP Professional

Core Design Exam (Select one)

  • Exam 70-297: Designing a Windows Server 2003 Active Directory and Network Infrastructure
  • Exam 70-298: Designing Security for a Windows Server 2003 Network
