A Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) is an individual who
is certified on Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2003 technologies. To earn the
MCDST, you must pass the following two exams:
Exam 70-271: Supporting Users and Troubleshooting a Microsoft Windows XP
Operating System
Exam 70-272: Supporting Users and Troubleshooting Desktop Applications on a
Microsoft Windows XP
Operating System
